Edward J. Micka, age 57 , died February 28, 2015. Edward was born in Chester and was a lifelong resident of Ridley Twp. He was a graduate of Ridley High school and became a Master Cement Mason. Edward was a member of the Milmont Republican Club, he was a lifelong member of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Swarthmore, enjoyed cooking Italian food and gardening and growing his own vegetables. He enjoyed fishing, trips to the shore, the Mummers and all Philadelphia sports, especially the Eagles. Edward also loved spending holidays such the 4 th of July and Christmas with family, was proud of his country and was steadfast in his relationship with God.

He was the son of the late Edward J. Micka and the late Clara (DeJohn) Micka.

SURVIVORS:Sister: Karen Micka; Also survived by a loving aunt, cousins and friends including his closest cousin, Joseph Santella.

VISITATION: Saturday March 14th from 9:30-10:30 am at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Michigan Ave. & Fairview Rd., Swarthmore.

MASS: Saturday March 14th at 10:30 am at Notre Dame De Lourdes Church, Swarthmore.

BURIAL: St. Pater & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
