Edward J. Rybak Sr., age 83, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at Riddle Memorial Hospital. Born, raised, and educated in Chester. Ed was a 1959 graduate of Chester High School. He has resided in Aston since 1974. Ed was a painter in the maintenance department at Scott Paper Co., Chester where he retired in 1997. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He proudly served his country in the Army Reserve and he was a longtime member of the American Legion in Ogden Post 951. He was the son of the late Alex and Mary Novak Rybak and his sister Barbara. SURVIVORS: His beloved wife of 61 years Penny Drozdowski Rybak, father of Ed Rybak (Lisa), Brian Rybak, and Chris Rybak (Tess), his brother Al Rybak, his grandchildren Mark, Eric, Kevin, Ryan, Josh, and Tara. A graveside service will be on Monday September 16, 2024 at 11:30am at Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston. In lieu of flowers please make memorial Donations in Ed's name to the charity of the donors choice.
