Edward M. Skellan, age 92, a longtime resident of Ridley Twp., passed away on April 19, 2018. Ed served his country proudly during World War II in the U.S. Navy, and retired from Steamfitters Local Union # 420. Edward was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid bowler, former president of Chester Biddy Basketball, and a longtime parishioner of Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.

He was the father of the late Eddie and Jay Skellan, and brother to the late Sophia and Anne.

SURVIVORS: His wife: Elaine (Dobis) Skellan; his children: Thomas Skellan (Jeanne), David Skellan (Kim), and Theresa Boland (Bob); his sister: Mary Wisenbaugh; his grandchildren: Brian, Dan, Matt, Kristin, Lindsay, Amanda, Robbie, and Katie; and his 7 great grandchildren.
