Elaine Ross (nee Zappala), age 76 , died on March 4, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Chester, and formerly of Parkside, Elaine had been a resident of Aston for the past 10 years and retired as a teacher's aide for the Penn-Delco School District. Mrs. Ross was a sun lover, spending summers over the past several years at her vacation home in Wildwood, NJ and spending time with her family.

Predeceased by husband Gerald D. Ross and sister Rose Marie Barry.

Dear mother of Gary (Kim) Ross of Logan Township, NJ and Susan (Jim) Chobany of Glen Mills, PA. Grandmother of Amanda, Andrew, Matt, Ben, and James. Also survived by sisters Josephine Taylor and Rita Cordasco.
