Elaine Annette (Dobis) Skellan passed away on October 4, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1930 to Joseph and Susan Dobis in Beaverdale, PA. In 1950, she married the love of her life, Edward Skellan. They lived together in Ridley Township for over 57 years, where she was a member and eucharistic minister at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church. Elaine attended mass almost everyday, and her strong faith, unselfish heart, and thoughtful spirit were a gift to so many in her community. She was a loving wife to the late Ed; late brother Joe Dobis, and compassionate mother to the late Eddie and Jay Skellan. She was a dedicated and thoughtful wife, mother, sister, and grandmother to her family, and she adored her grandchildren. Elaine had a gift for caring for others unconditionally. She lifted up everyone around her and made everyone feel special and loved.

Survivors: her children Thomas Skellan (Jeanne), David Skellan (Kim), and Theresa Boland (Bob); her sisters Dorothy Ronan and Kitty Shedlock; her grandchildren Brian, Dan, Matt, Kristin, Lindsay, Amanda, Robbie, and Katie; and her 9  great grandchildren.
