Eleanor Rhue Stephano, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2024. Rhue was raised in Pensacola, FL, and had most recently resided in Coatesville, PA. She loved nature and all of its creatures, an eternal optimist, volunteer, and gifted artist. Rhue was a vivacious, engaging, and cherished friend to many, and a brave, adoring and adored mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and cousin. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA. Rhue was preceded in death by her father, Sylvester E. Thompson and mother, Callie D. Elmore, her sister, India Frances Tavernier, and husband, John V. Stephano. She is survived by her beloved sister, Nira June Poalillo (Ken) and her children, Alisa Stephano (Rick), Deborah Varvoutis (Dean), Maria Beblo (David), and John V. Stephano, Jr. (Michelle). Grandchildren: Giancarlo (Marcel), Brian (Jennifer), Guinevere (Baba), Aaron, Christie, Melissa (Michael), Jake, Grace (Mathew), and Elisa (Carlos). Great Grandchildren: Darius, Christopher, Zachary, Dylan, Austin, Jace, Giuliana, Bella, Giancarlo, and Henry. She leaves behind treasured nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law Diane and Dolores and brothers-in-law Joe, Ken and Dick. Visitation: Friday, January 19, 2024, 10:15am-11:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342. Memorial Mass: Friday, January 19, 2024, 11:30am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Burial: Friday, January 19, 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery, following Mass.
