Elizabeth "Bette" (Hellinger) McKeon age 92 passed away peacefully on April 11, 2023 at her home in Maris Grove. Bette was born, raised and educated in Chester, PA. She and her late husband Thomas P. McKeon lived in Glen Mills, PA for many years before moving to Maris Grove. She retired from the Sun Oil Co. after many years of service. Bette was a true animal lover especially fond of both cats and dogs, particularly her dog Tiny. She was a regular contributor to the University of Penn Veterinary and many more animal shelters and animal organizations. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Glen Mills, PA. Bette was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Catherine (Dixon) Hellinger, sister of the late Ruth, Kitty, and Rudy, and loving wife of the late Thomas P. McKeon. Bette is survived by 2 daughters: Patricia Stevens (Dale) and Deborah Biddle (Jim Basso), her grandchildren: Dale Jr. (Samantha), Aubre (Nathan), Tyler (Abby), Matthew and Gregory, and eight great grandchildren. Bette's Visitation: Wednesday, April 19, 2023 from 9:30am-10:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church 430 Valleybrook Rd., Glen Mills, PA 19342 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
