Elizabeth Ann Pasela, age 83, a longtime resident of Upper Chichester, PA, passed away on January 11, 2026, in Honeybrook, PA. Betty was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Note Dame Girls High School. Prior to Betty and her husband Marty beginning their family, she worked as a secretary for State Farm Insurance. Following the birth of their daughter, Betty settled into the role of dedicated mom, grandmom, and homemaker, spending many years at home raising her children and eventually taking over the role of babysitter for her grandchildren when the need arose. While her children were in school, she could often be found volunteering to help with their classes at St. Hedwigs Grade School. In her free time Betty enjoyed gardening, making pierogies, and taking trips with her family, most notably to Savannah, GA, and Cape May, NJ.

She was the daughter of the late Edward and Blanche Lipp, and wife of the late Martin "Marty" Louis Pasela (2020).

Survivors: Children: Michelle Lees (Scott) and Christopher Pasela (Erin). Grandchildren: Evan and Kyra Lees Cheyney (Blake) and Chase and Hunter Pasela. Siblings: Adrienne Lipp and Nancy Maillie (Bob).
