Evelyn H. Bennett, age 97, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Evelyn was a cherished member of her community, with deep roots in both Marcus Hook and Boothwyn. A proud graduate of Chichester High School, Class of 1946, she dedicated her life to her family, her faith, and her music. Evelyn was a long-standing member of the Marcus Hook Baptist Church, Linwood United Methodist Church, and Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she served as a devoted organist for many years. Her musical talents brought joy to countless worshippers, and her gentle demeanor and unwavering faith touched the lives of all who knew her. In addition to her musical contributions, Evelyn held various positions, including those at Chichester High School, the local post office, and the Racing Pigeon Bulletin. She relished the opportunity to travel, with fond memories of her vacations to Tyler Lake, Myrtle Beach, and Florida.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Earl Bennett, her son Mark Bennett, and her brother Franklin Hull. She was the daughter of the late Franklin Arthur and Eva (Williams) Hull.

She is survived by her son, David Bennett (Sandy); her grandchildren, John Thomas, and Jimmy Bennett; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Tyson, Thomas, and Timothy.

Visitation on Friday, June 20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, located at 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA 19014. A Funeral Service to honor Evelyn's life and legacy will follow at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood, PA, where her memory will live on among loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made in Evelyn's name to Memorial Presbyterian Church, 3217 Chichester Ave, Upper Chichester, PA 19061, honoring her enduring love for her faith and community.
