Evelyn Crawford "Lynne", age 88, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on February 23, 2024. Born and raised in Clifton Heights, Lynne was a graduate of Clifton Heights High School. For over the last decade, Lynne called Glen Mills, PA, her home and was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to Visual Sound in Broomall, where she forged lasting friendships and eventually retired. Lynne's creative spirit illuminated every aspect of her life. She found immense joy in various crafts such as sewing. She loved Lancaster and went on many journeys with her grandson to find new sources of artistic inspiration. Among her many passions, Lynne enjoyed engaging in pinochle games, crafting heartfelt poetry as well as nurturing her garden. She enjoyed small adventures with her husband such as the exhilarating adventures of snowmobiling in Upstate NY, quick weekend getaways and their trips to Florida. Together, they took great pleasure in simply enjoying the camaraderie of friends. Golfing with her beloved husband Tom brought Lynne profound happiness and cherished memories. She found fulfillment in giving back to her community through volunteering at St. Eugene with Meals on Wheels, embodying the spirit of compassion and service. She is the daughter of the late Christian and Gertrude Shimp and loving wife for over 50 years to the late Thomas "Tom" Crawford (2017). Survivors: Her loving children: Cynde Casar (Jim) and Tom Crawford (Donna) as well as 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. A service and burial will be held privately for family.
