Francesca Fida, age 87, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on May 19, 2018. She was a longtime resident of Chester and Ridley Township, PA. Francesca was a parishioner of St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone.

She was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Caterina (Latassa) Simari, wife of the late Giuseppe Fida, and sister of the late Assunta, Letterina, Antonio Marchetta, and Francesco Simari.

SURVIVORS: her loving children: Marina Condoluci (Tony), Caterina Fida, Vincent Fida (Cathy), Ugo Fida (Joann), Carmela Fida (Joseph), Gilda Thomas (Jeff), and Assunta Nolan (James); siblings: Salvatore Simari and Teresa "Angela" Anastasio; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

VISITATION: Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston and Friday morning from 9:00-9:45 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, 1901 Chester Pike, Eddystone. FUNERAL MASS: Friday at 10:00 am at St. Rose of Lima Church. BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
