Frank M. Cardinale, age 92, of Boothwyn, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2020 in Upland, PA.

Frank was raised in Philadelphia and attended St. Donoto School. He was a retired construction laborer and owner who specialized in concrete work. Frank was an avid pigeon flyer who enjoyed tending to them and participating in racing the birds. Frank was a huge Philadelphia sports fan, and especially loved watching the Philadelphia Eagles. He was a parishioner at St. John Fisher Church and a devout Catholic. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and proudly served in the Korean War. Frank had a carefree, happy-go-lucky personality and was loved by all who knew him; he was a true gentleman.

He was the son of the late Domenic and Frances Cardinale, and the brother of the late Nicholas Cardinale.

Survivors: His loving wife: Marie (Micolucci) Cardinale; children: Anita Blanda and Frank Cardinale, Jr.; and grandchildren: Michael Blanda and Paul Cardinale.

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Avenue, Boothwyn, PA 19061.

Burial: Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions on public gatherings, a memorial gathering celebration of life, committal service at Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA, and military honors will take place at a future date.
