Frank J. Hanavin, Jr., age 78 , a longtime resident of Wilmington, DE died August 27, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. Frank graduated from Chester High School in 1955 and resided in Brookhaven for a few years before moving to Wilmington, DE. He retired from Scott Paper Co. in 1992 as a supervisor after 36 years of service. Frank enjoyed fishing, puzzles, going to the horse races at Delaware Park and vacations at both Wildwood, NJ and Virginia Beach.

He was the son of the late Frank J., Sr. and Esther (Lambert) Hanavin.

SURVIVORS: His wife: Jane A. (Webb) Hanavin; 2 Sons: Frank J. Hanavin, III and Chuck Hanavin, both of Newark, DE; 1 Grandson: Sean Hanavin of Newark, DE; and 1 Great Granddaughter: Avery Hanavin of Newark, DE.
