IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank A.
Vito
November 7, 1929 – July 24, 2015
Frank A. Vito, age 85, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 24, 2015 in Las Vegas, NV.
Born on November 7, 1929 in South Philadelphia, he was the first child born to Anthony and Jean Vito.
Raised in South Philadelphia, Frank embraced one of his many passions, music, and spent most of his career as a music agent for well-known bands in Philadelphia and the surrounding area. He also proudly served his country and is a veteran of the Marine Corps.
When Frank was not enjoying a baseball game, listening to Frank Sinatra, watching a good ol' Western movie or eating his favorite lemon flavored Tasty Kake pies, he cherished quality time with his family, friends and his beloved companion, Mikki, a rescued boxer.
Frank will always be remembered by his loved ones as someone with a heart of gold and a man who touched every single life he came in contact with. To all who knew him, he was a unique and thoughtful individual with a witty sense of humor and a laugh that could light up a room. He never slowed down, he never stopped and he never let anything get in the way of living and loving a full life. He was blessed to have family, friends and caregivers that loved and cared for him, but that love was returned a thousandfold. Frank truly was one of a kind.
Frank has physically left this world but his spirit, his smile and his memory will remain behind in the hearts of all that knew and loved him. Survivors include his one and only daughter, Barbara (Bobbi) Leuzzi and her husband Jack; his loving sons Anthony and Carmen Vito; a younger sister, Irene Greenleaf and her husband Jack; two cherished grandchildren, Michael & Marisa; and last but not least, his adored dog, Mikki. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Anthony and Jean.
A celebration of his life will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Visitation with family will be from 12-1pm followed by a service beginning at 1pm. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Yeadon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Adopt-a-Boxer Rescue, PO Box 270551, West Hartford, CT 06127 or www.adoptaboxerrescue.com.
