Obituary

Alfred "Fred" A. Kowalski, age 72, passed away on January 18, 2019 surrounded by his family at his home in Wilmington, DE. He was a lifelong resident of Delaware County before recently moving to Wilmington.

Fred retired from Lawn Croft Cemetery in Linwood, PA and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1967-1968.

He was the son of the late Alfred A. and Marguerite (Brown) Kowalski and brother of the late Robert Kowalski and Joseph Boyle.

SURVIVORS: Wife: Ann Marie (Cody) McKenna; Children: Patricia Amoroso (Angelo), James McKenna, Beth Brooks, Timothy McKenna; Siblings: William Boyle, Annette McClure, Shirley Gallo; Grandchildren: Matthew Keen, Michael and Kathleen Amoroso, Ryan and Caitlin McKenna, Sarah Ann and Richard Cominskie; and Great Grandchildren: Conor and Ryan Keen.

VISITATION: Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. EULOGIES: Wednesday at 11:00 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.
