Frieda L. Barnes , age 83, of New Holland, PA, formerly of Aston, PA, passed away August 28, 2020 at Ephrata Community Hospital.

Frieda was born and raised in Nuremberg, Germany. She moved to the United States in 1958 and settled later in Pennsylvania. Frieda was employed at Kimberly Clark/Scott Paper for over 30 years until her retirement in 1996. She was an active member of the Lioness Club in Aston, servicing the community. Frieda loved crocheting, bowling, and spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Johann and Luise Dinkelmeyer.

SURVIVORS: Children: Jeffrey Barnes, Heidi Barnes-McGlade (Eric), Michael Barnes, and Deborah Rich; 8 Grandchildren and a brother residing in Germany.
