Gabriel Fucci, Jr., age 77, passed away on April 1, 2024, with his family by his side. Gabe was born and raised in West Haven, Connecticut. He obtained his degree from the University of Connecticut and then went on to obtain his master's degree from West Chester University. Gabe worked as the head athletic trainer at Widner University and then the Glen Mills School before his retirement. Fitness was his passion and even when not at work, he enjoyed going for walks, runs, and swimming. Gabe also enjoyed unwinding on the golf course, watching sports, and tending to his garden. More than anything else, his favorite thing was spending time with his children and grandchildren. Gabe was a proud decorated United States Marine Corp veteran who served during the Vietnam era. He was a parishioner of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. He is son of the late Gabriel and Loretta (Amato) Fucci, husband of 49 years to the late Sandra 'Sandy' A. (Palmer) Fucci, and brother to the late Anthony Fucci. Survivors: His loving children: Michael Fucci (Gina), Daniel Fucci (Kelly), Christine Wills (George), and Lori Volpone (James) as well as 8 grandchildren: Angelina, Gianna, Nicholas, Jack, Cole, Kaci, Juliana, and Luke.
