Gail Hope Summers Braun , age 79, passed away on May 8, 2020 at her home, Plush Mills Senor Living, Wallingford, PA. Raised in Philadelphia, Gail went on to graduate from The Ellis School for Girls and Green Mountain College in Vermont. Gail enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she loved every moment they were together. Gail was a lifelong Episcopalian and had a deep faith.  She was also passionate about nature, art and travel. Gail was cherished by her family and friends for her exuberant sense of humor, her gentle and generous heart, her beautiful blue eyes and smile, her indomitable spirit and her unending grace.  To all of those that knew and loved her, they are ever grateful for the many years she blessed their lives.

She was the daughter of the late Margaret Summers Johnson and George H. Summers, II and she was the wife of the love of her life, the late J. Peter Braun. They enjoyed 54 years of marriage.

Survivors: Children: Jill Braun Helwig, Cindy Braun Dunn, and Betsy Braun Billigmeier. Son-In-Law: Don Helwig. Brother and Sister-In-Law: George H. Summers, III and Kathy Summers.  Sister-In-Law and Husband: Carol Braun Tatum and Scotty Tatum. Grandchildren: Jessica Helwig, John Helwig, Erin Billigmeier, and Lauren Billigmeier.
