IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Gary J.
Kristman
August 13, 1955 – May 6, 2025
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gary J. Kristman, a loving husband, father, grandpop, and friend. Gary passed at his home in Upper Chichester, PA, on May 6, 2025, at the age of 69, with his loving family by his side. Gary was a graduate of Chichester High School and was retired from Entemans where he worked as a Driver Salesman for many years. Nearly seven years ago, he was diagnosed with a rare cancer called multiple myeloma. Through every twist and turn, his beloved Deebird stood by his side. He fought with everything he had. And even after a spinal stroke in January left him paralyzed, he still kept fighting. He loved spending time with his grandsons, who adored him. Even in his final moments, his thoughts were with his family. He worried about them being okay without him. That was the old-school man in him. Protective and Selfless. Some of you knew him as Gary. Others as Dad, Grandpop, Uncle, Hatman, or Gary the Hat. However you knew him, you knew his heart. He had a heart of gold. He'd always offer you his last bite, grill the best steaks, and love his family with everything he had. He found peace in the outdoors and had a love for animals even as a lifelong hunter. He had a way of collecting "old people," and kids were naturally drawn to him-because he was one of them at heart. He made up the best jingles, had an endless supply of ways to lovingly annoy his Deebird, always found a way to make things work, and could make you laugh even when you didn't want to. He was one of a kind. Gary fought hard. And all who knew him were so lucky to love him. He will be missed by so many. He is loved and know we know he will be watching over us all. Gary was the son of the late Henry and Helen Kristman and brother-in-law of the late Winnie Quinn. Survivors: His Beloved Wife and "Deebird": Dee Kristman. Daughter: Kristy Kristman Jarrett (Craig) and Brittany Kristman. Sister-in-law: Kathy Ekas. Grandsons: Atacus and MacGyver Jarrett. Gary is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
