Our beloved George Goudouvas, age 72 passed away peacefully April 18, 2018, at Crozer Hospice at Taylor Hospital. Born in Amarandos, Greece, George married the love of his life Theodosia in 1969 and moved to the United Stated in 1970. The couple settled in Silver Spring, Maryland where they raised their two children Sotirios and Kleopatra. He spent 47 years in Maryland before coming to Garnet Valley to be closer to his children and grandchildren. George was a school teacher and principal in Greece and owner and operator of a painting business while here in the US. George was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who loved spending time with his family. He returned to Greece every year for vacation and to see his family. He was very active in the Greek Orthodox Church and was in the Greek Military as a young man.

He was the son of the late Sotirios & Kleopatra Goudouvas. Husband of the late Theodosia Goudouvas who died in January.

SURVIVORS his beloved children Sotirios Goudouvas and his wife Abby, Kleopatra Dargakis and her husband Minas and loving grandfather to Sophia, Nicholas, Vasilios, Theodosia, and Christina.

Family and friends will gather Saturday April 21st from 11:00am-11:45am at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 808 North Broom Street, Wilmington, DE 19806

The Funeral Service will follow at 12PM at the church.

Entombment will follow at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA 19342

Luncheon will follow at Harry's Savoy Grill 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE 19810 302-475-3000. Family is using Wise Originals Florist 610-494-3233
