George Michalkiewicz, Sr., age 76, a resident of Chester, PA, passed away on July 17, 2023, at his home surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Germany and immigrated to America at the age of 3. His family resided in Upland, PA, and he was a graduate of Eddystone High School. Following high school, George joined the Army and served his nation proudly. During the service he picked up an interest in carpentry, an interest that would continue in to a career as a self-taught carpenter, focusing on home renovations. In his early years George enjoyed Ballroom Dancing with his wife, Sally, rollerskating, traveling, working on their ceramics business, and visiting the Lancaster County Corn Maze. Above all else, George loved his family and cherished every moment spent with them. George was the son of the late Tadeuz and Walerja, and brother of the late John and Ted Michalkiewicz. Survivors: His beloved wife of 53 years: Sally Michalkiewicz, Children: George Michalkiewicz, Jr. (Kelly), Sally Kimball (Toby), and Katy Katerynczuk (Lenny). Siblings: Helen Truax, and Henry and Paul Michalkiewicz. Grandchildren: Tiffanie McCann (Kevin), Mylie, Landen, and Logan. Great Grandchild: Kevin. Visitation: Saturday, July 22, 2023, 10:30am-12:30pm, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 12:30pm at the funeral home.
