Geraldine Mary O'Brien, age 93, passed away on March 1, 2025, in Media, PA. Geraldine was born in Chicago, IL, and attended and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Moylan, PA. She was also a graduate of Trinity College in Washington, DC, where she earned a Masters Degree. A lifelong educator, she was a Sister of Notre Dame from 1952-1979 serving in roles as a teacher and principal. Geraldine then worked as a Math and Reading Consultant for Houghton Mifflin Co. until her retirement. Following her retirement she continued to serve by volunteering at Riddle Hospital, The Philadelphia Flower Show, and The National Spelling Bee. She was a longtime resident of Wallingford, PA, before moving to Merrill Garden in Glen Mills, PA. Geraldine was a member of St. John Chrysostom Church in Wallingford, PA. Geraldine was the daughter of the late Orville James O'Brien and Alyce Pauline, and sister of the late Maureen O'Brien. Survivors: Her Beloved Sister: Kathleen Marley. Nephews: Mark Marley (Dede), Jim Marley (Stephanie). Niece: Geri Kilmer. Cousin: Terry O'Brien. Great Nephews: Conor, Andy, Billy, Christopher, Stephen and Patrick.
