Gloria Anne (Iacono) Carr, age 73, longtime resident of Garnet Valley,PA passed away on January 12, 2023. Gloria was born and raised in Chester, PA and was a graduate of Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School, class of 1967. After high school she received her bachelors degree in nursing and worked as a nurse for 30 years. Gloria spent most of her time nursing at Crozer-Chester Medical Center and the Assisi House. She was a parishioner of Church of the Holy Child in Wilmington, DE. In her spare time Gloria enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She is the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (Fusco) Iacono and sister to the late Lawrence Iacono, Jr. Survivors: Her loving husband: Michael Francis Carr, Sr., her children: Coleen Mills (Vinny) and Michael Carr Jr. (Adrienne) as well as her grandchildren: Amelia, Emma, and Cecilia Carr. Visitation: Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 10:30am - 12:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston, PA 19014.
