November 16, 1928 – January 23, 2016
On January 23, 2016, Grace R. (Frist) Greer , a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother went peacefully to be with her Lord while surrounded by her family.
Born in Darby, PA, Grace was active with the Chester YWCA and the Picwick Club. She married John Greer in 1959 and resided in Brookhaven until moving to Aston in 2003. Grace retired in 1993 from Boeing Inc., after 25 years of service. She was a lifelong Sunday School Teacher and Choir singer, including the DCCC Choir and the Victoria Baptist Church. Recently, Grace attended Mt. Hope United Methodist Church and was part of their Prayer Shawl Knitting Group. She enjoyed the Aston Senior Center and bowling with the Conchester Senior League.
Grace is predeceased by her parents: Robert and Mary Frist, five sisters, and her husband John Greer.
SURVIVORS: Her daughter, Susan Donlan, grandchildren: John, Jackie and Sean Donlan, her daughter, Janet Greer and husband Thomas Tofani, and her daughter, Nancy Savage husband Fran, grandchildren: Brandy, Dani, and Shannon Savage;also survived by several dear friends.
VISITATION: Thursday from 9:30-10:45am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Thursday at 11:00 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. BURIAL: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Victoria Baptist Church 1459 Baltimore Pike Springfield, PA 19064 or Mt.
