Harold E. Woomer, age 94, passed away on August 30th, 2021. He was a long-time resident of Sharon Hill, where he raised his family. Harold served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II on the USS Tranquility, a hospital ship that was assigned to the Pacific Fleet. He was employed by Philadelphia Electric prior to his retirement. After retiring, Harold moved to Asheville, NC. In his free time, Harold was the Boy Scout Leader for the Holy Spirit Church Troop for over 20 years. He always enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, especially the mountains in Asheville. Most of all, Harold loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a past member of Holy Spirit Church in Sharon Hill.

He was the son of the late Clifford Woomer and Eva Bell Williams, husband of the late Eileen Woomer (1998) and the late Dorothy Woomer (2016), father of the late Thomas and Ronald Woomer, and brother of the late John, Earl, Clifford, Robert, and Shirley Woomer.

Children: Harold (Gloria) Woomer, Eileen Gariano, Carolyn Ryan, and Judi Novak. He is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 18 Great Grandchildren, and 3 Great-great grandchildren.

Visitation: Thursday, September 9, 2021, from 9:30am-10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral. Private Burial: Washington Crossing National Cemetery at a later date.
