Helen Dargay (nee Ritz), age 88, passed away on October 22, 2022 in Downington, PA. Born in West Hazleton, PA, daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Yuchno) Ritz, she was a longtime resident of Concord Township prior to moving to Downingtown. Helen was a graduate of Weatherly High School and a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Glen Mills, PA. Her passion as growing flowers. She loved everything flowers. She also taught ceramics, was a member of Sun Valley Band Parents Association, a member of St. Thomas Golden Age Club, and a volunteer at Fair Acres Geriatric Center in Media, PA. She retired from JC Penny's at the Granite Run Mall in 1996. Helen was the wife of 60 years to the late Pete Dargay who passed away in 2013. She was predeceased by sisters Anna Barnhart and Marie Thatcher, brothers Joseph, Michael, John, and Ronald Ritz. She was the loving mother of Karen Stevens (Rich), Peter Dargay (Kathy) and Patty Lord (Doug). The cherished grandmother of Matthew Brown (Magy), Kristen Burras (Chad), Allison Croft (Mike),Amanda Girken (Nick), Michael, Ryan (Bailey), and Jason Lord. Great Grandchildren Adalyn and Tucker Burras and Amelia and Avery Croft and Isabel Girken also 26 nieces and nephews. Visitation: Saturday October 29, 2022 from 9:30-10:15am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills.
