Irene E. (Turner) Bartholomew, a longtime resident of Twin Oaks, PA, age 92, passed away on November 21, 2016. Irene worked in the labs at Sun Oil during WWII and was a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and the beach during summers spent in Chincoteague, VA and was a snowbird traveling to Florida in the winter. Irene was a member of Ogden Baptist Church.

She was the wife of the late John Martin Bartholomew and mother of the late Sandra Lee Bartholomew and John Charles Bartholomew.

SURVIVORS: daughter: Judith Dixon; daughter-in-law: Beverly Bartholomew; 2 sisters: Etta Mawson and Avis Davies; 3 grandchildren: Amber Dixon, Paul Bartholomew, and Kelly Jones; 4 great grandchildren: Norah Reese, Johnny Bartholomew, Jenna Bartholomew, and Sarah Jones.
