Jacqueline J. Light, age 86, passed away on May 16, 2026 at Bryn Mawr Hospital. Jackie was born in Philadelphia, PA, and raised in Upper Darby, PA. Jackie enjoyed a normal childhood prior to being stricken by a serious illness and surviving a very high fever (108 degrees) at the age of nine. She spent many years living at Pennhurst until the facility was closed and she moved to a Devereux group home. Jackie was very social and enjoyed going out with her friends and family as often as she could, in addition to traveling and attending family gatherings. Jackie had a knack for remembering dates of birthdays and special events. When she wasn't out and about, she liked to do word puzzles and cook, always trying out new recipes to expand her skills.

The family would like to thank the staff at Crestview group home for their excellent care of Jackie, especially over the past two years. We would also like to thank the Grace Lutheran Church for maintaining contact with Jackie after she was no longer able to attend.

She is the daughter of the late Jack and Helen Bahn.

Survivors: Her siblings: James Bahn (Sandra) and Carol Samples (Steven). Nieces and Nephews: Steven, Andy, Lisa, and Matt. Great Niece: Mikalena and Juliet.

Visitation: Tuesday, May 26, 2026 11:00am-12:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014.

Burial: Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, PA
