James A. Pierce, 95, of Aston, PA, passed away on Monday, April 13, 2020. James was born and raised in Lenni, PA. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was present at the invasion of Normandy. He worked for many years as a maintenance welder for Allied Chemical. He kept a meticulous yard, loved gardening, boating, and spending time crabbing, clamming, and fishing with his grandchildren.
He was the husband of the late Margaret Pierce (nee Nickle), son of the late William and May (nee Powell) Pierce, brother of the late Blanche, Billy, Harold, Ted, Bart, Dick, Norman, and Lavinia, stepfather of the late Maurice Kulp, and uncle of the late Christine Trainor.
Survivors: his son: Norman (Mary Ann) Pierce; stepchildren: Loren Leach (Debbie), Marilyn Crew, Kurt Kulp, Clarice Sapp, and Gail Doyle; brother: David (Carolyn); 18 loving grandchildren; and 15 loving great grandchildren.
Funeral Service: Private.
Burial: Calvary Episcopal Cemetery - Rockdale, Aston.
