James H. Borden, age 80, of Wilmington, DE, passed away at his home on October 9, 2019. He was raised and educated in Rutledge, PA and graduated from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Morton. James was a proud alumnus of St. James High School in Chester, Class of 1956. He received a Mechanical Engineering degree from Pennsylvania Military College (now Widener University) in 1967. James was retired from Westinghouse Electric, after which he founded Power Tech Associates and M&J Services. James served on the Concord Township Planning Commission.

He was the son of the late Howard and Frances (Mangan) Borden.

SURVIVORS: his loving wife of 62 years: Marguerite (Nichols) Borden; children: Deborah McIntyre (Mark), James H. Borden, Jr., and Stephen Borden (Karen); siblings: Suzanne Mills and Michael, Robert, and Paul Borden; grandchildren: Aimee Johnsonbaugh (Dennis), Ashleigh Forwood (James), Abbie Fischer, Stephen Borden, Jr., and Kyle Borden; and great grandchildren: Natalie and Nicholas Forwood, and Cameron Johnsonbaugh.

Visitation: Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 10:00-10:45 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 7 Sharpley Rd., Wilmington, DE. Funeral Mass: Saturday, October 19, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church. Burial: Private.
