James 'Jimmy' E. Clark, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2024 at his home in Media. Jimmy was born in Chester and raised and educated in Media where he graduated from Media High School. Jimmy was a resident of Aston for over 30 years, he also resided in Garnet Valley and Media for the past 4 years. Jimmy worked for the Scott Paper Company for more than 25 years before retiring. Jimmy was an outstanding athlete. He played baseball for Media High School; he also was a longtime softball player for the Marcus Hook Softball League. He coached his son in the Aston Little League, and enjoyed bowling shooting darts, playing the horses at Brandywine Racetrack, playing cards, and going to the casinos. Jimmy was also an owner at the Red Zone Bar and Grill. Jimmy and his wife Joan loved to travel. They enjoyed going to Wildwood Crest, Las Vegas, and Sarasota Springs. Jimmy was also a die hard Philadelphia Phillies fan. Jimmy was the son of the late Raymond and Doris Clark, husband of the late Doris "Joan" Clark, brother of the late Buddy Clark, grandfather of the late Johnny James Ramano and son in law of the late Carrie Mead. SURVIVORS: His beloved children Rhonda Romano and James E. Clark Jr., his grandchildren Kelli Romano and Jason E. Clark, and his nephew Buddy Clark Jr. VISITATION Thursday May 30, 2024, from 11:30-12:45am at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday at 1:00pm at the funeral home. BURIAL: Edgewood Cemetery, Glen Mills.
