James A. Deery, Jr., age 76, passed away on April 13, 2023 at his home in Aston, PA. James was a raised in Ogden, PA, and was a graduate of Chichester High School. Following his graduation he enlisted in the Army and served his nation proudly during the Vietnam War. After the service James joined the workforce with Westinghouse before working at the BP and Conoco Phillips Oil Refineries. James loved to garden and spend time with his Italian Greyhounds, Erin, Zelda, and Zorro. James was the son of the late James and Delores Deery and brother of the late David Deery, Bill Deery (Diane), Thomas Deery (Barbara) and Carl Hoopes. Survivors: Beloved Wife of 51 Years: Patricia Deery (nee Kocopy). Children: James Deery, III, and George Deery. Siblings: Linda Tutlo (Richard) and Sheila Bittle (Del). Visitation: Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 3:00pm-5:00pm, at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Service: Wednesday, April 19, 2023, 5:00pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial: James will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C., with military honors, at a later date.
