James J. Del Sordo, Sr. passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 28th at his home. He was known to his friends by many names including Bud, Del, Poppy Buddy, Jim, and Jimmy.

Jim was a former boilermaker working out of Local 13. He was a skilled welder and one of the best in his trade, earning the nickname Dr. Del. He was co-founder of Automated Security. Jim also enjoyed hunting and sports, playing throughout his whole life until age 74. He was a people person and loved to talk.

He was the son of the late Katherine (Peretti) and John Del Sordo and father-in-law to the late Michael Skulski.

SURVIVORS: wife: Jane; daughters: Kathy Skulski, Jane Ann Alcorn (Greg); sons: James Del Sordo, Jr. (Carol), Bernard Del Sordo (Jorgelina); step-son: Michael Mater; and 9 grandchildren.

VISITATION: Friday from 11:30 am - 12:45 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. FUNERAL SERVICE: Friday at 1:00 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. BURIAL: Ss.
