James S. "Jim" Cuthbert, age 82, a longtime resident of Glen Mills, passed away on May 23, 2017. Jim was the founder and owner of J.S. Cuthbert Co. Landscape & Paving for more than 60 years. He volunteered his time and services to the Sisters of Mercy, Don Guanella, and St. Thomas the Apostle Church Parish. Jim had a special love and passion for his family, horticulture, and brought joy to many with his festive Christmas displays.

He was the son of the late John and Mary Cuthbert and brother of the late Ruth Wallace.

SURVIVORS: his loving wife of 62 years: Floss (Watson) Cuthbert; 5 children: Linda van der Post (Antonius), Cindy Scholes (Jim), Vicki Rate (Bill), Katie Gable (Mark), and Jim Cuthbert (Kacey); sister: Mary Barbuto; 8 grandchildren: Mark, Krysti, Laura, Matt, Ryan, Will, Jim, and Jack; and great grandson: Connor.

VISITATION: Friday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass: Saturday at 10:30 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 430 Valleybrook Road, Glen Mills. BURIAL: Ss. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
