James Howard Pierce, age 85, passed away on March 23, 2023, at home with his loving family by his side. Jim was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a graduate of Chester High School. He worked for Westinghouse and UFF Machine Co. prior to his retirement. In his free time, Jim loved to build model airplanes and go boating and fishing. In addition, he loved to maintain a perfect lawn and crystal clear pool. He was a member of St. John Fisher Church in Boothwyn, PA. He is the son of the late Charles and Alice (nee Maher) Pierce, brother of the late Jean Ashton, Alice Radell, and father of the late James Pierce, Jr. Survivors: His Beloved Wife of 55 years: Barbara Pierce (nee Bowers). Son: Jeffrey Pierce (Audrey). Brother: Charles Pierce (Betty) of Sarasota, FL. Grandchildren: Steffany, Danielle, Sydney, and Tripp. Jim is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
