James Joseph Sheridan, age 85, a longtime resident of Boothwyn, PA passed away on May 15, 2023 with his family by his side. James was raised and educated in Chester, PA where he graduated from St. James Catholic Boy's High School. He served proudly in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne division as a medic. James was a retired steamfitter with Local Union#420. His hobbies and enjoyments included: boating, doing cross word puzzles, and home renovations. James was also a motorcycle enthusiast. James is the son of the late James and Emily Sheridan, husband of the late Rose (Coalson) Sheridan and brother of the late Patricia Thompson and Philip Sheridan. James is survived by 3 Children: James J. Sheridan, Jr., Pamela Martin (William) and Victoria DeCarlo (John),his siblings: Lawrence Sheridan and Carole McKelvey-Sheridan, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, May 22,2023 from 1-2:15pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA 19014. Funeral Liturgy and Military Services will follow at 2:30 pm. Burial: Private.
