James "Jim" Southwell, aged 91, peacefully passed away on February 29, 2024. Originally from Arden, DE, Jim spent his later years in Wilmington, DE. He dedicated many years as a bookkeeper for Shaw Company until its closure. Jim held a deep passion for the Boston Red Sox, remaining a loyal fan throughout his life. Known for his warmth and kindness, Jim was beloved by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Jim is the son of the late Charles and Ruth (Nee Strange) Southwell and husband of over 30 years to the late Edna Southwell (2011).
