In Loving Memory of Jamie Zenuk May 9, 1976- May 17, 2025
James Gregory Zenuk passed away far too soon on May 17, with his loving wife by his side.
Jamie Zenuk was a husband, stepfather, brother, uncle, son and best friend - but to those who truly knew him, he was something even more profound: a force of nature, a light in the lives of many, and a man whose presence could never be forgotten.
Jamie's father, Greg, instilled a love of sports in him. He taught him the game of baseball, which became Jamie's passion. And he excelled in baseball for years, until a shoulder injury sidelined him from the sport he loved. Jamie graduated from Chichester High School in 1995. He was a loved and popular student who excelled in football his senior year, holding school records in single game and single season yardage as a wide receiver that stood for many years. His statistics still rank high in Delaware County. Jamie continued his football career at Hargrave Military Academy and for a season at West Chester University followed by a brief stint in semi-pro until knee injuries ended his football career. Jamie started his professional career in the apprentice program of IBEW 654 where he excelled, winning professional awards and even using CPR to save a baby's life, all the while waiting tables at night. Jamie was always a worker. On a whim, Jamie decided to completely change careers and become an insurance agent. He was all in, and was passionate about insurance and was a top seller at Miller's Insurance, winning awards for his high productivity. After the insurance industry changed, Jamie went back to being an electrician, spending the last 10 years of his life at Delcora, where he was loved by his coworkers and employers.
Jamie was larger than life. His incredible smile lit up every room he entered. He had a rare gift - the kind that can't be taught - to walk into any room and instantly lift its spirit. Laughter, warmth, and connection followed him wherever he went. People gravitated toward Jamie because in his company, they felt seen, appreciated, and safe. Whether you had known him for years or had just met him, he had an effortless way of making you feel like you belonged.
He was a man of many talents, sharp instincts, and deep convictions. As a passionate athlete and fierce competitor, Jamie constantly pushed those around him to be their best - but not for the sake of winning. He believed in the power of teamwork, in the beauty of shared success, and in the joy of rising together. He led by example, with intensity, creativity, and care.
Jamie didn't shy away from life's difficulties. He understood its fragility and its unfairness - and because of that, he made it his quiet mission to help others savor the good. He carried within him a deep sense of purpose: to live fully, to love deeply, to laugh often, and to stay present in each moment. He wasn't one to dwell on the past; his eyes were always set on what came next - on growth, meaning, and connection.
His loss leaves an aching space in the hearts of all who knew and loved him - a family, a community, a chosen circle of friends who will carry his memory forward. Jamie lived loudly and gave generously. Though he is gone, his light remains - in the joy he sparked, the lives he touched, and the love he leaves behind.
Jamie Zenuk will be remembered always - for the spirit he shared, the laughter he brought, and the countless hearts he forever changed.
Jamie leaves behind his wife and true soul mate Robin Zenuk (nee Sprintz), step children Zachary and Rachael Zizmont, brother Matthew Zenuk (Taylor), sister Kelsey Zenuk White (Benjamin), brother in law Marc Sprintz (Kay Cee), parents in law, Frank and Linda Sprintz, nieces and nephews Alexis, Abe, Eli, Brody and Bianca and best friends for life Vicky Wasko, Gina Castelli, Todd Szewczyk plus countless other friends and family who loved Jamie dearly. Preceded in death by parents Gregory and Beth Zenuk and his bonus sister Johanna Conicello.
