Janet Mae Symonds, age 83, passed away June 26, 2022 in Danbury, CT. She was born May 10, 1939 in Syracuse, NY into the Ostrander family. She married friend and love James Roger Symonds who preceded her in death in 1991. Janet loved unconditionally and her unwavering faith codified the life she shared with us all. She loved to celebrate her Christian roots ... making each holiday special by decorating, baking and celebrating the joys each had to offer. Janet's passion was children ... embracing the innocence and feeding the hope of each boy and girl that entered her life. She was a loving mother whose enthusiasm for youth was fostered by her caring profession as a Licensed Practical Nurse during her early years in life. She was free spirited and embraced every challenge offered with an inspirational strength and courage that was her trademark. Janet never let a cloudy day drown out the love she had for life and those that touched hers. Her journey was a monument to her faith and belief that each moment is a gift ... every soul is precious. Janet is survived by her children Rhonda and Tim; and grandchildren Chris, Emily and Allie all who she so deeply loved.
