Janet Mae Walker, age 75, passed away on August 14, 2024, at her home. Janet was born in Philadelphia and raised in Broomall, PA. She was a graduate of Marple Newtown High School and then went on to Bryn Mawr Hospital where she was educated and trained to be an X-Ray Technician. Janet spent her entire career with Riddle Hospital, serving as the Assistant Chief Technician for the X-Ray department prior to her retirement. Janet had an extensive doll collection and enjoyed painting china in her free time. She also loved to travel and go on cruises, especially to tropical locations like Florida and the Carribbean. She took many of these trips with her dear longtime friend, Jeanne. Janet was also an animal lover, caring for many pets over the years but having a particular fondness for dogs. Janet was the daughter of the late Jack and Martha Walker, and sister of the late Jack and Robert Walker. Survivors: Nieces and Nephew: Robin Daum (Michael), Robert Walker (Kenneth), and Kimberly Edwards. She is also survived by her dear friend Jeanne Bankes. Funeral Service and Burial: Private.
