Jason A. Hickey, age 44, passed away peacefully at his home on Good Friday, March 29, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born and raised in Upland and was the son of Arthur and Robin (nee Buckalew) Hickey. Jason graduated from Monsignor Bonner High School, class of 1997, and went on to earn his BFA in Photography from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts in 2001. Jason had a passion for visual arts having worked for the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Freeman's Auction House in Philadelphia. He taught himself to draw which eventually led to him becoming a graffiti artist. His kind, gentle spirit and amazing wit endeared him to many. He will be dearly missed by friends and family. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his partner of 15 years, Kelly Ann Gillen and their beloved son, Bishop. He is also survived by his sisters Wendy O'Sullivan and her sons Nicholas and Joseph; Tracy Lee Meyer and her daughter Kristin; and Nicole Ferguson (Joe) and their son Joey as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation from 10:00 - 11:30 AM on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Service for Jason will begin following the visitation at 11:30 at the funeral home.
