We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean DeJohn a beloved woman who lived a life filled with joy, adventure, and love. Jean passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 78, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Jean graduated from Notre Dame Girls School in Moylan. She attended St. Joseph's University and graduated with a degree in biology. She went on to start her own business, DeJohn Medical Laboratory in 1978, working until her retirement in 2012. Throughout her life, Jean had many passions, but perhaps the most prominent was her love of traveling and spending time in the Caribbean and Disneyworld. Another of Jean's favorite pastimes was playing penny slots at the casino.

Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Pasquale and Stephanie DeJohn; and her sisters, Antoinette Iacono and Lucille Polilli. She is survived by her siblings, Margaret McCusker and Joseph DeJohn (Catalina); nieces and nephew, Megan Loomis (Billy), James McCusker (Gabrielle), and Patti Matheson (Dan); grandchildren, Emily (Sarah), Margaret, Jimi, Joy (Nic), Juliana (Peter), and Ian.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22 at Nolan Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, from 10-11:30am. A service will follow at 11:30 at the funeral home.
