Jeanne J. (McGrory) Motter, of Upper Chichester, age 65, passed away on August 7, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was raised and educated in Springfield, PA where she was a graduate of Springfield High School class of 1968. Jeanne also graduated from Delaware County Community College and was proud to have been acknowledged on the Dean's List.

She was formerly employed by Chelsea House Publishers in Broomall, PA. A devout Catholic, Jeanne was an extremely active member of St. John Fisher Roman Catholic Church in Boothwyn. She was an Eucharistic Minister, CCD teacher, member of the Bereavement Committee and she was instrumental in the Vacation Bible School program at St. John Fisher Church.

Jeanne is the daughter of the late Thomas and Jeanne (Geiger) McGrory, and wife of the late Jacob Motter.

SURVIVORS: 2 Daughters: Tanya Pettit (Robert) and Laura Nardone (Mike); 4 Grandchildren: Ashley and Courtney Pettit, Ryan and Mackenzie Nardone; 1 Great Grandson: Gavin Pettit; her cousin Barbara Wynncrof who was like a sister to her, 2 Nieces: Stacey Maillie and Carolyn Carter and many great nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday from 10:30am-12:30pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, PA. Funeral Mass: Thursday 1:00 pm at St. John Fisher Church, 4225 Chichester Ave., Boothwyn, PA. Burial: Private.
