IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joan M.
(D'Aquanno) Silverstein
June 26, 1949 – January 12, 2025
Joan M. Silverstein, 75, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2025. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Silverstein with whom she shared 39 years of marriage. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late John A., Sr. and Esther Petrucci D'Aquanno. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Charity Parish, Brookhaven. A Delaware County native, Joan was raised in Chester & graduated from Notre Dame Catholic Girls High School in 1967. Joan was a longtime resident of Parkside, where she raised her family & resided for 43 years. She was employed with Brookside Clinical Laboratory as a Lab Technician and retired after 48 years of service. Joan was a loving wife, devoted mother, & grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family & friends. She loved traveling, attending live concerts & shows, & cooking & baking all things Italian, but nothing brought her more joy than a Philadelphia Phillies win. Survivors: Her children Robert F. Silverstein, Jr. & Jill Brunner; her grandson Devon Brunner. She was preceded in death by her brother, John A. D' Aquanno, Jr. Our family would especially like to thank Columbia Cottage in Collegeville. From the wonderful care that was provided to all of the new friendships made, we will always consider you as part of our family.
