Joan E. Miller, age 86, peacefully passed away on October 11, 2023, at Riddle Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Springfield, PA, and was a proud graduate of Springfield High School. For the majority of her working life, Joan dedicated her time and efforts to the Franklin Mint and later switched jobs to work at QVC, where she was able to enjoy a fulfilling career and eventually retire from the company. In her later years, Joan made her home in Glen Mills and was an active member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Joan loved spending time with family above all. She enjoyed traveling, playing pinochle and was a life long Eagles fan. She is the daughter of the late Elmer and Catherine (Thiel) Eckman and sister to the late Tom Eckman. Survivors: Her loving children: Susan A. Miller and Cindy McGovern, her siblings: James Eckman, Trudy Berman, and Mary Lou Strobel, as well as her bestfriend: Lily.
