Joan H. (Ricci) Messner (nee Henderson), age 84, passed away on March 30, 2022, at Naaman's Creek Country Manor, in Garnet Valley, PA. Joan was raised in Trainer, PA, and had been a resident of Boothwyn, PA, and a member of St. John Fisher Church. Joan spent many years working in Banking, prior to working for Sprint from which she retired. In her free time, Joan enjoyed cooking, reading, and traveling. She also loved connecting with friends and family through Facebook.

Joan was the daughter of the late John F. Henderson and Rita (Carey) Henderson, wife of the late Joseph W. Messner, and sister of the late Jack Henderson and Denise Henderson.

Survivors: Loving Children: George J. Ricci, Theresa Tobin (Bill), John M. Ricci (Theresa), and Jeffrey E. Ricci (Pamela). Her sister Eileen Williams, Stepchildren: Joseph Messner (Donna), Christopher Messner (Carolyn), Michael Messner (Debbie), Thomas Messner (Margaret), and Amy Messner-Blackburn. Joan is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Visitation: Tuesday, April 5, 2022, from 10:00am-11:15am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home Ltd., 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Funeral Service: Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 11:30 am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home. Burial:  St. Thomas The Apostle Cemetery, Glen Mills.
