Obituary

Joan D. Myers, 90, of Upper Chichester passed away peacefully on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Riddle Hospital in Media, Pennsylvania.

Joan graduated from Ridley Park High School and spent her early years devoted to raising her four children. Later in life, she attended paralegal school and went on to enjoy a successful career, retiring as a paralegal from Wawa after 25 years of dedicated service.

Joan was an avid bowler for many years and proudly "retired" her bowling ball at the remarkable age of 88. She loved working with her hands and created countless beautiful, counted cross-stitch pieces that will be treasured by family and friends. Over the years, she also enjoyed ceramics, crocheting, knitting, and sewing. Her talent and generosity touched many lives as she made gowns and performed alterations for proms, dances, graduations, and other special occasions.

Most recently, Joan became a cherished member of the Lutheran Knolls community, where she formed many meaningful friendships that enriched her life during her final three years. She helped start the Crochet Club, affectionately known as the "3C's," and loved spending time with friends reminiscing about their golden years, watching Phillies games, and enjoying one another's company.

We are truly blessed to have shared more than 90 wonderful years with our Mom. Together we celebrated countless milestones, birthdays, weddings, and the births of grandchildren. We will forever cherish her loving smile, kind heart, and the joy she brought to all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Helen Machman Doall and John Doall and her brother John Doall,

Survivors: children: Steven, Brian (Vicki), Judy and Brenda (Ken), grandchildren: Jeremy (Nicole), Aaron and Brian Myers, Jacob (Pamela) Myers, Kalen (Kyle) Fehr, Gregory (Kim) Myers, Jonathan, Alicia (Mac) and Adam (Noel) Daniels, Amanda (Jalen) and Kelly (Cali) Allen, Great-Grandchildren: Isaiah, Serenity, Dione, Landon, Adelynn, Julian and Elliot. Joan is also survived by her sister, Donna Bonkowski and her nephew Kevin (Kim) Bonkowski also of Oxford, GA

Visitation: Friday, June 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 5:15 PM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania 19014.

Funeral Liturgy: Friday June 12, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave, Aston, Pennsylvania, 19014.
