Joan A. (Connor) Owens, age 81, of Boothwyn, passed away on May 24, 2017. Joan was born and raised in Crum Lynne, PA and was a longtime resident of Chester. She graduated from Notre Dame Girl's High School in Moylan, PA in 1953. She retired from Scott Paper Co., now Kimberly Clark, as an Administrative Assistant in the Safety & Security office as well as their Medical office. Joan was a former parishioner of St. Robert's Church in Chester and St. Rose of Lima Church in Eddystone. Mrs. Owens belonged to the St. John's on the Hill Senior Club in Boothwyn and the Notre Dame Moylan Alumnae Association.

She was the daughter of the late William J. and Margaret (McGovern) Connor, the wife of the late Lawrence R. Owens, Jr., and sister of the late Peggy Longhurst, William Connor, Rose Marie Murray, and Sara Coccagna.

SURVIVORS: 2 loving daughters: Margaret Ricker (Gregory), and Helene Znacko (Dave); a sister: Tessie Ferri; and 6 Grandchildren: William, Lauren, Benjamin, Samuel, Madison, and Patrick.
