Joan Pasqualine Passaro, age 93, a longtime resident of Brookhaven, PA, passed away on August 16, 2025, in Media, Pa. Joan was born and raised in Chester, PA, and was a Chester High School graduate. For over 30 years Joan was an elementary school teacher, beginning with a brief stint at Our Lady of Peace School in Milmont Park, she then went on to teach for Rose Tree Media School District until her retirement. In her free time, Joan enjoyed going to the casino, baking, watching the Philadelphia Phillies and Villanova Basketball, and spending time with her family. She loved staying involved with her community, whether that meant joining social clubs like the Our Lady of Charity Charitians Club and the Parkside Seniors, or lunching with her friends. Joan was the daughter of the late Adolorata and Pasquale Ragni, sister of 8 late brothers and sisters, and wife of 39 years to the late Donald Passaro (2010). Joan is survived by many nieces, nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews. Burial: Mount Hope Cemetery, Aston, PA.
