Joan E. Stewart , age 82, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her family on December 1, 2018. Born in Sellersville, Bucks Co., Joan was raised and educated in Southwest Philadelphia graduating from John Bartram High School in 1953. Joan lived in Broomall for 45 years before moving to Maris Grove, Glen Mills in 2008. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved to travel, enjoyed her time in Ocean City, NJ, and was member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Newtown Square.

She was the daughter of the late Lamar and Bertha Weidemoyer Musselman and the sister of the late Kathleen Rosenbaum and James Musselman.

SURVIVORS: Her loving husband of 58 years Richard Stewart; Her devoted children Richard Stewart (Ruth Secan), Cynthia Handline (Shawn), and Robert Stewart (Lora); and her grandchildren whom she adored, Caitlin, Ryan, Connor, and Jake; and her sisters Janet Giordano, Caroline Conlan, and Loretta Heneks.

VISITATION will be Friday from 11:00am-12:15pm at the Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave. Aston.
